Surgical Adhesive GRF

The Surgical Adhesive GRF (Gelatin, Resorcine, Formaldehyde) is a sterile surgical adhesive, made with two components: adhesive (Gelatin – 37,5% and resorcine – 12,5%) and a polymerizing solution (formaldehyde – 8,3% and glutaraldehyde – 2,5%).

  • Box: The Surgical Adhesive GRF (Gelatin, Resorcine, Formaldehyde) is presented in blisters containing a tube with Adhesive - 5 g and a tube with Polymerizing Solution - 4 mL. Boxes with 6 or 12 blisters.
  • Sterilization Method: Radiation
  • Indication Supporting in corrections of dissecant aortic aneurism, in addition to serving as suture line reinforcement, due to its high adhesive power, being also used as haemostatic when the usual procedures in haemostasia are exhausted. Its use is for the recovery of lacerated aortic wall, so as to make the surgical procedure safer, facilitating the handling the tissues and improving the survival.
